Monsoon Deep Depression is now over the Northeast Sindh/Gujarat border. As a result, heavy rains are predicted in Sindh, Punjab, and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

Including Mirpur Khas (Tharparkar, and Umerkot), Karachi, and Hyderabad (Dadu, Badin, Thatta, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Allah Yar, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Sujawal), and Shaheed Benazir Abad (Naushahro Feroze and Sanghar) Divisions during next 24 hours. Widespread thunderstorm rain (isolated heavy rain) is likely in Other parts including Sukkur (Ghotki and Khairpur) and Larkana (Jacobabad, Kashmore, Qambar-Shahdadkot, and Shikarpur).

Punjab & Islamabad Weather

Widespread thunderstorm rain (isolated heavy rain) is likely in the Upper and Central Punjab Province. These areas include Islamabad, Rawalpindi (Attock, Murree, Jhelum, and Chakwal), Gujranwala (Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahuddin, Hafizabad, and Wazir Abad), Lahore (Kasur, Nankana Sahib, and Shekhupura), Sargodha (Mianwali, Bakkhar, and Khushab), Faisalabad (Jhang, Chiniot, and Toba Tek Singh), Sahiwal (Pakpattan, and Okara), and Multan (Khanewal, Lodhran, and Vehari) Divisions. Meanwhile, Scattered rain (isolated heavy) is likely in DG Khan (Layyah, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, and Rajanpur) and Bahawalpur (Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan) Divisions during the next 24 hours.

KPK Weather

Widespread thunderstorm rain (isolated heavy rain) is likely in Northeast KPK Province. These areas include the Hazara (Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Kohistan, Kolai-Palas, Torghar, and Batagram) Division. Meanwhile, scattered thunderstorm rain is likely in other areas of KPK. These areas include Bannu (Lakki Marwat, North Waziristan) and Dera Ismail Khan (South Waziristan and Tank), Peshawar (Charsadda, Nowshehra, Khyber, and Mohmand), Mardan (Swabi), Malakand (Swat, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Buner, Shangla, Bajaur, Malakand, and Chitral), and Kohat (Hangu, Karak, Kurram, and Orakzai) Divisions.

Balochistan Weather

Scattered thunderstorm rain is likely in Balochistan Province. Including Kalat (Awaran, Hub, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Mastung, and Surab), Naseerabad (Kachhi, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Sohbatpur, and Usta Muhammad), Sibbi (Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Ziarat, Harnai, and Lehri), and Loralai (Barkhan, Musakhel, and Duki) divisions during next 24 hours. Isolated thunderstorm rain is likely in Zhob (Killa Saifullah, and Sherani), Makran (Gwardar, Kech, and Panjgur), Quetta (Qilla Abdullah, Karezat, Pishin, and Chaman), and Rakhshan (Kharan, Washak, Nushki, and Chagai) divisions during the same period.

Kashmir Weather

Widespread thunderstorm rain (isolated heavy rain) is likely in Kashmir during the next 24 hours, including MuzzaffarabadRawalakotKotliMirpur, and Jammu divisions.

Gilgit Baltistan Weather

Scattered showers/thunderstorms isolated heavy are possible in all valleys of GB during the next 24 hours. These areas include Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, Gupis, and Chillas Valley.

Alert: Heavy to Very heavy rains are likely in Sindh (particularly south and central Sindh), Upper, central Punjab, Upper KPK, GB, and Kashmir. Therefore, Flash floods in local rivers and streams along with glacial lake burst are possible in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Hazara, Malakand, and Rawalpindi Divisions.

Urban flooding also is likely in major metropolitan centers. Most likely cities include Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Lahore. Stay Vigilant!
